JC Prom Night (1 Dec 08)

Prom night at hilton was okay. nothing extravaganza. there's no dance floor, half of the video which was supposed to be for us wasn't even our photos, miss glamorous is not so glamorous. she should have won the miss brainiac instead. but wth, more than one table voted for her. but the councillors didn't even take our nomination slip! okay, i sounded like a complain queen.

before hilton, some of the 41C girls went to holiday inn to do our make up and hair. haziqah and i hired a make-up artist, kak nora to do our make-up and hair.
seee..... the results!

and we were all set to go!

more people was supposed to be there but they came late. namely, nas and falina cause they were sesat. so they had super express make-up and had to change in 5 minutes or so. wow.
so we all headed to hilton awaiting the night full of surprises!
and ofcourse everyone started to take pictures

so we settle down in the ballroom and wait

and oh! this is the band which sang "fairuz , fairuz you're my E-Y-E candy x2" according to them cause i didnt even hear (specifically, according to Haziqah because i copy paste the "..." from her LJ).
actually, here's the story: the host was asking for a 2 syllabus name and my WONDERFUL classmates was looking around in our table for anyone with a 2 syllabus name. so after like about 1.5 minutes of looking around, they reached me. so they were like "FAIRUZ! FAIRUZ!!" apparently, our table was nearest to the stage on the left so the host heard their load voices and decided to take it! i tried my best to shut them up but with no avail and there it was, the host told the whole ballroom the name ''fairuz'' has been chosen. i was soo scared cause i dont know what they're doing with MY name. so this j1 band started to sing and half way through the song, i heard "FAIRUZ" in the song! and they were all laughing :\

and there was other games on and off stage
like the 'best dress' nominees have to create a new hairstyle for their partners using temporary colour hair sprays, gels and comb?! i pity those guys, their hair are messed up after hours of doing their perfect hairdo for prom. hahha!
and our table won one box of ferrero rocher for guessing all the song titles correctly.
nas won ten dollars Swensens voucher in the first round lucky draw. she can treat us the service charge and GST! hahha!
and falina won 1st prize lucky draw which is XBOX 360!!
and then there was a comedy but it sounded more like a skit cause we didnt laugh much.

performance by FOD and nas was one of the better ones (maybe because she is my friend. hahha.)
there was performance by another j2 band
and ofcourse miss and mr glamorous: FFF and zul.
the food, was okay.

and then its done. finish.
we took pictures for awhile with teachers and friends.

Mr Glamorous

so after hilton, we went back to holiday inn to prepare the surprise birthday party for Melissa and Elisha.
even Mr and Mrs Lim was there! before the birthday girls went in, we hid behind the curtain, the bed and off the light. and when they came in, SURPRISE!!

so after the people who are not staying over left, we clean up start our PJ party! so called.
after the zouk out people came back, the party really begins! hahha! it was really entertaining laughing like mad cow at 4 in the morning. thanks melissa (:

and the next morning, an irritating person woke us up at 8+ saying that its already 10! making people who slept at 7 like me and mar rush for nothing!
we clean up and walk around at the swimming pool since we are suppose to have an early morning swim but didnt.

after which, we went for lunch at McDonald's and home sweet home.

the party at holiday inn was soo much fun than prom at hilton.
but all the preparations for prom, birthday party and pj party are all worth it (:
